SPECIAL DMS-100 FEATURES
CALLER ID
These Caller ID Features are available on both Digital and Analog Centrex Lines. Analog Centrex Lines require a 6x16 Line Card in the Central Office Switch.
Caller ID information is collected on a per-call basis. The customer does not get to "Store" and "Revue" in a List. The information is only available in real time ( while the call is in progress ).
Caller Name Delivery: CNAD This feature is provided for calls within and between customer groups on the same DMS-100 switch. It will also show the names of callers outside of the customer group.
Calling Number Delivery: CND Calls that ring on the Primary DN (Key 1) appear on the display before the call is answered. Calls that ring on the Secondary DN keys, appear after the call is answered.
DISTINCTIVE RINGING
Meridian Digital Centrex gives you up to 5 Distinctive Ringing patterns to help distinguish among different kinds of calls. Internal External UCD, Universa Call Distrabution Parked or Camped-on call Return Ring Again Distinctive Ringing / Call Waiting lets you specify a list of up to 31 telephone numbers. Whenever any of these numbers call you, you will here a special ring. If you are on the phone, you will hear a special call waiting tone.
ANNONOMOUS CALL REJECTION
This software allows subscribers with or without Calling Number or Calling Name Delivery to reject calls that have calling name/number intentionally blocked.Benefits:
- Offers privacy sensitive subscribers additional flexibility in diverting unwanted calls.
- A deterrent to harassing or malicious calls by automatically rejecting incoming calls that have calling name/number intentionally blocked.
SELECTIVE CALL REJECTION
This feature enables a subscriber to program a list of up to 31 DN's from which calls are to be rejected or blocked. Incoming calls that are on the list are routed to an announcement informing the caller that the called party does not wish to receive the call.
Key Capabilities:
- The subscriber dials a service-specific access code and follows instructions given by recorded boice prompts to press keys on the keypad to:
- Activate or deactivate this feature.
- Select (or modify) up to 31 DN's that will not be accepted at the subscriber's line.
- Selective Call Rejection can be used in conjunction with Customer-Oriented Trace. After activating Customer-Oriented Trace, the subscriber can program Selected Call Rejection to block calls from the last incoming (and unwanted) number.
